People On the Go Maryland (People On the Go) members have various disabilities—this community of support celebrates a culture of diversity at its core—but find unity in shared experiences. Becoming a member puts you directly into a community of like-minded people who share similar experiences.
People On the Go members support each other and advocate for the rights of all members. It is also a known and recognized name within the Maryland disability community, which gives the organization a strong presence. And there is no cost for membership. So what are you waiting for?
Benefits of Membership
Stay informed: When you become a member, you will get the information we send out about the latest updates within People On the Go.
Get access: The organization assists members with transportation to People On the Go events, and members get a reduced rate for the People On the Go bi-annual conference.
Learn: Members of People On the Go develop self-advocacy and leadership skills through committee involvement and trainings.
Participate: Join your fellow People On the Go members for regular calls and meetings. There are also local People On the Go groups located in counties throughout the state of Maryland.
Build your network and resume: As a People On the Go member, you have opportunities for professional development through involvement in committees and advocacy efforts.
